Hi Linda,
We had a great vacation. We have done a lot of traveling, but this was the first island vacation. It was also the first time we used a travel agent. Your services very helpful in easing our mind with your answers to our questions. All of the travel plans went off without a hitch. All of the information you provided us was accurate and the resort was as you stated.
Sandals seems to be a good quality resort chain. It appears as though you can rely on their service no matter what resort you would visit. They keep you informed of the daily activities, dinner times, tour availability, etc. Their transportation for tours and to and from the airport were very timely.
As you know, we stayed at the Royal Caribbean but visited the Montego Bay resort as well. It was nice to have the availability of both resorts, since they are only ten minutes apart by shuttle. It added to the restaurant and entertainment selections.
Our second floor of a two floor building beachfront room was excellent. We would definitely recommend this location. It was such a joy to wake up to warmth, sunshine, clear blue skies, and be able to sit on the balcony and take it all in first thing in the morning. The grounds were pretty at both resorts and the people were friendly.
We actually liked the Montego Bay resort better overall. The beach is nicer and the restaurants and layout we liked better. The only drawback that we could see at the Montego Bay resort was the airport departure runway noise. Although there were no outgoing flights after 9 PM.
We did notice that getting a chair poolside is impossible. Those using a butler service get the chairs because the butler reserves them very early. It was also reunion week at Sandals therefore there was a large group who occupied the pool area. We would not recommend going during reunion week unless you are a returning guest and want to be involved in that activity.
We also went on the dune buggy tour and got a glimpse of the Jamaica hill side. It was dusty but a lot of fun. We would recommend this tour.
Overall we would recommend both resorts and your services.

We used Linda and travLBudi to plan our 25th anniversary family vacation to Hawaii this past summer. She researched various flight and hotel options on different islands and came up with a great package for our family of six including the all of the airport transfers and car rentals we needed.
She booked everything for us and double checked all of the arrangements for us before we left; she even took the time to re-confirm our return flight reservations while we were in Hawaii to make sure we did not have any problems.

Thanks to TravLBudi our family took a vacation full of a lifetime of memories. We spent 3 weeks out West visiting two National Parks a day, with a break to see relatives in California.
TravLBudi really was with us all the way. Linda helped us plan where we would be staying and what attractions were close by. It was not an easy task dealing with our changing itinerary.
I can't tell you how wonderful it was to know that no matter where we ended up we had a nice place to stay. TravLBudi put in alot of hours to ensure that my family and I had an incredible vacation.
Staying at Ruby's Inn at Bryce Canyon was one of the many highlights. It was a reproduction of an Old West Town. There were so many people from other countries that we hardly heard english being spoken. Our children had a wonderful time meeting all kinds of people and learning about where they were from.
One of my favorite places was staying right inside Mesa Verde
in a small cabin and watching the sun set outside on our balcony. Spectacular!
We never would have done that without Linda's help. I am sure that Linda would extend the same level of care to your vacation!!

Our family just returned from an amazing vacation which we booked through Linda Bucknam of travLBudi. We gave Linda only a vague idea of what we were looking for and she turned that into a 5 day cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel through Carnival Cruise Lines. We asked Linda Bucknam to find some cruises for us to pick from as we had a general idea of where we wanted to go but didn't have time to do the research. She came up with a couple different cruises for the timeframe we were looking for. Cruising in the Caribbean during August can always be dicey due to Hurricanes so we decided on a western Caribbean cruise to Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama aboard Carnival Liberty. Since there were 5 of us travelling, we needed 2 cabins. Linda took care of everything.
As it turned out, the ship was beautiful and the weather was perfect. We didn't have any glitches at all. As far as the ports of call, I'd recommend Costa Rica and Panama to anyone -- both are very beautiful! The Mayan ruins were great to visit at the Costa Maya, Mexico port but there was really nothing at the port itself. I think its a fairly new port and there are just a few shops. You can tell the area is being developed as there are new streets carved out, but no homes. I'm sure in 5-10 years, this place will be another Cancun but at the moment it looks like they plopped a port in the middle of nowhere.
All in all, we had a great time and I would go through Linda again to book our next vacation.

Linda at TravLBudi planned our Disney vacation. We had a great time, the accommodations were nice but the Princess Breakfast in Epcot (before the park opened) was truly the highlight of the trip for my 5 year old Daughter.
We will call Linda again for future trips, she has experience we needed. She paid attention to details on the trip and yet saved us money by avoiding things she knew our kids (based on their ages) would't be interested in.

We had a wonderful time in New Zealand. Beachlife Apartments is very clean, right across the street from the beach and the owner is a very nice man. The kitchen is brand new and has everything you would need. The grocery store is within walking distance to the hotel so it is easy to stock up on items you need. There is a fantastic restaurant called Salt on the Pier that overlooks the New Brighton pier. That pier is amazing at night...all lit up in purple. The hotel is in a very quiet neighborhood and is about a 10-15 minute drive from the city. This was a nice break for us to sit back and relax after a day in the city. Air New Zealand is hands down the nicest airline I have ever flown...worth every penny.
If someone is looking for a hotel in the city like this one, I would recommend Poplar Apartments. We visited friends there who had requested to stay in the city.

First, let us thank you for helping plan our amazing honeymoon; we had an absolutely amazing time. From the time we stepped off the plane in Tahiti, everything was fantastic.
We really liked Moorea, especially the Snorkeling excursion you booked for us; thank you again. We were able to swim with some sting rays and watch the guide feed the sharks. They then brought us to a motu, cooked us lunch, and taught us how to open and shave a coconut. We also took an ATV tour which was unbelievable. The guide brought just the two of us around the island for three hours, riding to the plantations where they grow much of the food for the island as well as to various points which breathtaking views. We didn't want to leave....
BUT...we loved Bora Bora, and the Pearl Resort was incredible. I was able to go scuba diving multiple times from the center right at our hotel and am now certified. Kara and a friend we met there went on an aqua safari which she really enjoyed, surprisingly. Bloody Mary's was so good, we actually went back a couple nights later for seconds. All in all, a true paradise location perfect for a honeymoon or a romantic getaway.

Linda to help us research different honeymoon destinations that fell under the criteria we were looking to stay under. In no time at all Linda sent us a number of destinations to choose from, all of which had exactly what were looking for and better yet, they turned out to be all-inclusive destinations. We ultimately choose to stay at The Riu, which is located on Paradise Island in the Bahama's. We didn't have to think about anything! Linda not only booked our stay at The Riu, she also booked our flights and made ground transportation arrangements for us to get to/from the airport/hotel. When we arrived in the Bahama's we were greeted by our driver and the honeymoon began instantly. We never had to leave the resort as it had everything we needed right there for us.

travLBudi planned the perfect senior trip to Punta Cana for me and my family. We stayed in an ocean view suite and watched the sunrise every morning from our balcony. The turquoise waters, powdery sand beaches, volleyball, bocce ball tournaments and salsa dance lessons made the vacation complete. The morning breakfast buffet with crepes, french toast, omelets, bacon, fresh fruit, banana and melon milk shakes were delicious. We called travLBudi to help us plan our family vacation to the Walt Disney Word Resort in Florida. We wanted to stay inside the park to give our kids the ultimate experience since one is under 5 and our daughter is 15. Linda was able to get us on non-stop flights from Manchester, she checked us in and got our boarding passes for our flight home while we were enjoying our last day. She made my little boy's week by getting us a room in the Toy Story section of our hotel. It was one of the best vacation that we have had with no hassles which meant stress free. As the winter doldrums had affected our family we decided we were in need of some sun, rest and relaxation. After some searches on best warm weather, winter family vacations we decided on Atlantis in the Bahamas. The place looked terrific and we thought the kids would have a great time.
A quick e-mail to Linda at travLBudi got us going in the right direction. She successfully booked all seven of us (yes, 7 - my husband’s sister and her husband and 1 year old daughter came along for the trip too). We have two young boys, ages 4 and 1 and it was important for us that they enjoy the vacation as much as we would which meant their own seats on the plane and as direct a flight as possible. Linda made all that and more happen with ease.
The resort is fabulous. It’s a paradise for families. We stayed for 5 nights because we were looking for a quick get away from Boston but in hind sight we wished we had booked for a few more nights. The resort is very enjoyable, expensive, but worth it if you are looking for a good time.

The resort was great! It was huge! We did not upgrade and didn’t feel the need to. The dinner reservations were easy to get as long as you called the day before or the morning of. The beach was beautiful. You do get approached by Dominicans trying to send you on excursions but they were friendly and reasonable. The room was nice. The Melia in Mexico may have had better rooms and food overall but the Melia in DR had much more choices.
We signed out a sailboat at the beach for free, one hour at a time, that was nice. There was nothing misleading or disappointing at all. Overall a great time!

Linda Bucknam, from travLBudi helped my family and I plan our trip to Cancun in February, 2009. We started out with 15 people and a couple weeks before we had to leave a couple had to cancel for Medical reasons, but Linda was on top of it and it all went smooth. She also organized our ride to and from the hotel which worked out great also.
When we arrived at the Cancun Airport it was nice knowing someone was there to pick us all up and explain how all the excursions worked and that we had a guy from GOGO, which worked with travLBudi, to guide us and help us with tours and our ride back to the airport right at the resort.
We stayed at Crown Paradise Club Cancun and the kids loved it they had the water slides, volleyball net, mini water park, mini golf, few pools and an area to play soccer so there was plenty to entertain them.

I spent the bulk of the 2007 summer in Spain as part of study abroad program in college. I had the time of my life there. Before traveling abroad, I truly had no idea how to go about booking such an extensive trip, so I called Linda Bucknam and what a help she was. I only gave her a month or two's notice of traveling and she found me a fantastic round trip package. What she found for me allowed me to go early and stay later, so I could fully enjoy the country and its culture aside from my time spent in the classroom.
I would HIGHLY recommend traveling to Spain. It is fit for different types of tourists and backpackers. The coast, which includes hotspots to the north in areas of Galicia, Santander and San Sebastian and to the southeast (Mediterranean) like Barcelona, Tarragona, Valencia, Malaga or Almeria are perfect for those that just want to go and relax on the beach. Areas of more cultural significance are in Salamanca (home to the oldest University in Europe), Segovia (2000 year old Roman Aqueduct), Cordoba (home to the great Moorish synagogue La Mezquita), Granada (home to the recently nominated 8th Wonder of the World - la Alhambra) and Madrid.
When I travel again, I will definitely use Linda as my booking source. She did a phenomenal job. Using her will allow you to just worry about what you're going to do when you arrive at your vacation destination, not about how you're going to get there.

The day after our wedding on August 6th, my husband and I left the heavy rains that hovered over Boston and departed Logan airport to the sunny and gorgeous beaches of Aruba. Linda was our travel agent who arranged this outstanding and unforgettable trip. We started our search for the perfect honeymoon destination by flipping through a number of pamphlets provided by Linda within days of our initial consultation. The amount of research and knowledge that Linda possesses is incredible.
We provided a budget and a list of a few destinations we would be open to and not only did Linda stay within our budget, but she provided us with several resorts options as well as informed us of daily activities that take place on the grounds. Needless to say, from the moment we stepped foot on to our beautiful resort, The Tamarijn, to moment we departed Aruba, we were already discussing our next trip that we could have Linda arrange and book for us.

We had a fantastic time in St. Lucia. Almond Morgan Bay was the perfect mix of an all-inclusive - great drinks, food and activities. Hiliary and his brother were great drivers and would travel with them again if we return to St. Lucia. Thanks again for everything we had a fantastic time.

Hi Linda,
We had an amazing time. The resort was clean, the staff was friendly and the food was good. But best of all the pool bar opened at 10AM. We really didn’t explore the island much, one booze cruise and hike up Dunn’s River falls. It really accomplished what we needed. A week of being unplugged and do nothing but have a good time.
Eric and I almost didn’t make it out of Miami on the way there due to the fuel depot fire they had a few days before. But we made it out with just an hour delay. Jen held her own on the flight down and back. Great for her first time flying in 11 years.
I would definitely recommend the place to other people. There were a good mix of young and older people there. I am sure the average age was much higher than sandals. Which is good.
We are really looking forward to doing this again. Probably a different island to mix it up a bit. But secrets seems like they have it all together.
Thanks again for putting up with the numerous date changes and putting this altogether. We will be in touch next time we need another trip.
BTW I think I gained 10lb on this trip.

Our family just returned from an amazing vacation which we booked through Linda Bucknam of travLBudi. We gave Linda only a vague idea of what we were looking for and she turned that into a 5 day cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel through Carnival Cruise Lines.
